How to make a success of my Event Push Com?
1. Accessing the Push Com module
To start creating your Push Com, head over to the ‘Events’ section in your back office and click ‘Add’.
Alternatively, from your back office home page, click on your logo and use the direct access to Push Com.
When prompted, choose ‘a recruitment event’.
2. Complete the information for your Push Com
Now it’s time to add the key details. Here's how to make sure your Push Com stands out:
- Picture (1920px x 1080px): Use a visually engaging image that reflects the event and catches the eye of young talents. 📸
- Title: Keep it specific and to the point! For example, "Join JobTeaser's HR team for a virtual coffee chat." If your event is bilingual, make sure the title is understandable in both languages.
- Event type: Choose the event type from the dropdown menu, so it’s correctly categorised on our platform.
- Online or in-person: Specify whether your event is virtual or at a physical location. If you provide an address, it’ll be included in automatic notifications sent to registered attendees 24 hours and 1 hour before the event. 📍
- Start and end date/time: Make sure the dates are correct, especially if your event takes place over a single day.
- Event description: Be engaging and clear! What’s on the agenda? What makes your event special? List any necessary skills or documents attendees might need, and make sure the description is bilingual if required. Avoid including external links here, as this can negatively affect your Push Com’s performance.
- Speakers: If there are guest speakers, include their names. This helps attendees do their homework beforehand.
3. Setting up the registrations
When it comes to registrations, you’ve got three flexible options:
-
Event without registration: Ideal for simple event promotion - no need for attendees to sign up.
-
Registration via an external website: Redirect users to your event’s landing page. Just add the URL and set registration deadlines. Make sure the link is only in the registration section (not in the event description) to avoid confusion. This link will appear as a button for students that keeps track of the amount of clicks on your Push Com.
-
Registration via JobTeaser: The most feature-rich option! Manage everything directly from your back office. Start with entering the dates of registration and the link to your meeting room. You can gather CVs, ask additional questions, and even limit the number of attendees.
Here’s a quick rundown of the options:
- The first option is to require attendance once students have registered for your event. Use this option sparingly to prevent overlapping registrations.
- If you'd like to select which students can attend your event, simply tick the corresponding option. This gives you control to review and validate students before confirming their participation. Once you’ve made your selection, they will receive an automatic email letting them know if they've been accepted or not. 📩
- Need students to submit their CV? Check the ‘CV required’ box, and they’ll be prompted to upload it during registration. All the CVs and student details will be available in your back office, and you can easily download an Excel file with all the information in just one click. 📊
- You can also include ‘additional applicant information’ to access details from their JobTeaser profiles. It can give you more insight before registration.
- Want to get to know your participants better? Add a set of custom questions that they'll need to answer before registering. You can choose from various answer types - long text, short text, yes/no, single or multiple choice, or even a PDF upload. This feature allows you to gather valuable information to streamline your recruitment process.
- You can also offer multiple registration slots, set a maximum number of registrations per participant, or limit the number of available seats at your event. If the event fills up, no worries - the platform will automatically create a waiting list.
- Finally, don’t forget to customize the messages that participants will see during registration, confirmation, and reminder emails. Personalising these touchpoints can make a big difference! ✨
4. Targeting the audience of your Push Com
Fine-tuning your audience is key to a successful Push Com! Keep in mind that targeting too narrowly might reduce visibility, so choose wisely. 🎯
- Target specific universities: If you want to focus on certain universities, enter them in the field provided. The Push Com will only appear in their Career Centers.
- Target countries: Depending on your recruitment needs - local or international - narrow your event visibility to the country you’re operating to reach the most relevant attendees.
- Job categories: Choose job categories to limit the visibility of your event to students who’ve marked those areas in their profiles.
- Languages: Select the language of your event. For bilingual events, pick both languages and ensure the description matches!
5. Activating your Push Com
You’re almost there! Once your Push Com is ready, it needs to be activated by our Customer Care Team to appear on the platform.
➡️ Submit a request for activation using the form at the top of the page. Fill in your contact details, and click ‘Activation request’.
✅ Our Customer Care Team will review your Push Com to ensure it meets JobTeaser’s standards and will let you know if any tweaks are needed. Once approved, your Push Com will go live for 30 days or until your event date, whichever comes first.
If you haven’t received confirmation after 24 hours, drop us an email at hello@jobteaser.com and we’ll be happy to help! 😊
With your Push Com activated, your event will be visible to students on their dashboard, the event tab on JobTeaser.com, in the weekly newsletters, and on your company page (if you have a premium one).
