You’ve published your job ad on JobTeaser. It’s live, visible to students and recent graduates… but you don’t want to wait passively for applications to come in.
You want to be proactive - and that’s exactly where TalentMatch comes in!
To summarise what TalentMatch is: it’s our active sourcing tool that uses an AI-powered matching engine designed specifically for students and recent graduates. It analyses multiple elements to recommend the most relevant profiles for your job ad, even if they’re not actively applying yet.
Let’s have a look how it works in practice while using the content of your live job ad to guide the sourcing process.
Step 1: Access TalentMatch from your back office
Once connected to your JobTeaser back office:
Go to the TalentMatch module.
Click on Create a new project.
3. Choose to start from an existing job ad - no matter a standard, premium or sponsored job ad - and insert its title above. The title can be changed afterwards to better organise your active sourcing projects.
Once the correct job ad has been detected, click on ‘Create’.
Step 2: Discover the matching profiles
As soon as you select your job ad, TalentMatch’s AI takes over to assist you.
The analysis is conducted on multiple levels:
the matching between student’s profile information (e.g. location, education, skills, experiences) and the requirements and criteria defined in your job ad,
the candidates’ activity on JobTeaser (e.g. frequent logins),
and their interactions with your company or comparable employers (e.g. applications to similar roles or interest in your sector).
Once the analysis is complete, TalentMatch displays a list of the 50 best matching profiles.
Step 3: Finetune the list
Want to finetune the results? You’re fully in control. You can add filters such as:
Keywords
Contract type
Location
Under “More filters”, you can go even further by refining:
Profile details in terms of education
Spoken languages and proficiency levels
Job preferences (contract type, location, availability, etc.)
- Applicants on this job ad - Shows only recommended talents who have clicked Apply on the job ad linked to your project.
- Applicants from this company - Shows only recommended talents who have applied to at least one job ad from your company.
💡 Please note: these filters are based on candidates who clicked Apply and do not confirm that they completed the full application process.
ℹ️ This feature is only available for projects created from an existing job ad. It does not apply to projects created from scratch.
This allows you to balance AI-powered recommendations with your own recruitment criteria.
Step 4: Consult a profile in detail
Click on a profile to explore it in depth.
Each profile has a matching score that indicates how closely the student’s profile aligns with your job ad. You’ll also see why a profile is recommended - helping you quickly understand what makes this candidate more relevant than others and allowing you to confidently prioritise your outreach.
To ensure fairness, compliance, and bias prevention, some information are anonymised by default: the actual CV, profile picture, contact details or LinkedIn link are hidden. This approach is fully GDPR-compliant and helps you focus on what truly matters: skills, potential, and fit.
Inside the profile, under "Matching AI score", you’ll find:
a clear overview of the candidate’s strengths and areas for development,
their job preferences,
professional experiences,
education and training,
and spoken languages, with proficiency levels.
Step 5: Contact students directly
Once you have identified a promising profile, you can contact the student directly using TalentMatch's built-in messaging system. Learn more about messaging in TalentMatch
You also receive in-product advice and tips on how to write better, more personalised messages to students. The goal of this feature is to reduce generic outreach and increase student answer rate. When composing your message:
you can include a link to the job offer,
personalise your content,
and even add emojis to make your message more engaging, if you wish.
