Once TalentConnect is activated for your event, it's time to prepare your team, invite colleagues, and refine your employer branding.
1. Invite your team
- Decide if multiple colleagues will use the tool to digitalise candidate information or if there will be one single person in charge.
- Good to know: all student interactions are stored in a shared database, no matter how many accounts connect - but by using different email addresses you can track who met each student for better follow-up!
- Share event details, including the TalentConnect live link or QR code, and ensure all relevant recruiters and hiring managers have access to it. There’s no need to create full back-office accounts for your team - your colleagues can fully use the tool by simply following the steps provided through the access URL or QR code.
- Brief your team on how to engage with students and assess potential candidates effectively.
2. Polish your employer brand
- Make sure your company profile on JobTeaser is up-to-date and engaging.
- Highlight your company culture, mission, and update your job postings.
- If you purchased TalentConnect Premium, ensure job ads are posted in advance to allow on-the-spot applications.
3. Activate a Push Com for your event (optional)
Want to increase student engagement before the event?
- Submit a Push Com activation request to promote your event for 30 days on Career Centers and JobTeaser.com. This campaign can help drive student interest and boost attendance.
- If this feature isn’t part of your current contract, no worries! Your Account Manager will be happy to guide you through your options.
- Click here to discover more.
- By promoting your event with a Push Com, it will appear in the Events section of JobTeaser, on students’ dashboards, and even in the weekly Event Newsletter - helping you reach the right audience more effectively.
- Prefer to invite students through your own channels? That works perfectly, too! In this case, as mentioned above, your event page will primarily act as a foundation for your TalentConnect activities, such as saving student interactions, collecting CVs, and tracking your event’s success.
With your team and branding set, you’re ready for Step 3: Stay ready on the event day.
