A. I'm attending a university event with TalentConnect provided
If you plan to use TalentConnect at a university event, please check with the university if their Career Service team will provide TalentConnect on the event day and if you’ve been invited.
- Yes, the event appears in your backoffice → You’re all set! Go to step 2 and prepare your team.

No, the university won’t use TalentConnect as the official feature for this event
→ Don’t worry - you can still use it on your side. Start with creating the event yourself in backoffice (see option B below). -
Not sure? Stay tuned - universities may send invitations closer to the event date. Double-check your contact details to ensure the invitation reaches the right recruiter(s) in your company and keep an eye on your inbox! ✉️
B. I'm attending or hosting an event without TalentConnect provided by the university
If you’re organising an in-house event or you would like to use TalentConnect on your own initiative at a university event, you need to first set up the event in the JobTeaser backoffice yourself.
💡 Important: the TalentConnect Premium is required for this feature and is not available in the Freemium version.
- Go to your backoffice.
- Navigate to the Events section in your back office and click on “Add New Event” in the upper-right corner.

Complete your event page with all relevant information.
💡 Tip: First, decide on the purpose of your event page - will it be a public invitation for attendees, or just an internal tool for you and your team to enable TalentConnect?- Using the page for both invitations & TalentConnect on event day? Make it irresistible! Choose a clear and inviting title, upload an eye-catching image, set the correct date & time, and craft a compelling description that excites students about attending. The more engaging, the better!

Keeping it private for internal use? No need to make it flashy, just focus on clarity. Use a straightforward title so your team can easily find it in the back office, and keep the content minimal while ensuring all necessary details are included.

Activate TalentConnect for your event.

Once your event is created, simply click on “Activate TalentConnect” on the right of your event page.

You’ll see a quick summary of how many TalentConnect Premium Credits you have left. Activating TalentConnect for your event will use 1 credit, but don’t worry - we’ll ask for confirmation before anything is finalised. If you’re out of credits, reach out to your Account Manager in advance to top up!

Your TalentConnect live page will be ready to access 2 hours before the event starts. To avoid any last-minute hiccups, make sure your event details - especially the date and time - are correct.
Side note: Don't worry if you notice that the event is marked as “inactive.” This only affects the Push Com (promotion feature) and won’t impact your event’s functionality. Everything will still run smoothly for you and your team!
