💡If you’d like your ATS to analyze and track the source of incoming applications, this article is for you!

Tracking Code
Each ATS has different requirements when it comes to tracking application sources, and some require each client to configure their own.
To understand how tracking works, let’s break down what a tracking code consists of. It is composed of two elements:
- Parameter: This tells your ATS to track the source of the application link (e.g. source=, src=, gh_src=, etc.).
- Code: This indicates where the traffic is coming from (e.g. JobTeaser, jobteaserjobs, jobteaser_standard_credits, etc.).
Example: In the URL https://yourcompany.com/apply?source=jobteaser, source= is the parameter and jobteaser is the code.
When you combine the parameter and the code (e.g. source=jobteaser), you get a unique tracking code that lets you track candidates who found your job offers via JobTeaser.
How to configure a tracking code in your JobTeaser job links?
🚨 This only applies to offers posted manually on our platform or via a crawler. If you post jobs via a job distributor integrated with JobTeaser, in most cases application source tracking will be set up automatically. Otherwise please reach out to your job distributor’s support team.
Step 1:
Contact your ATS support team, IT/HRIS team, or your ATS account back-office administrator.
Ask them to create (if not already done) a dedicated tracking code for offers published on JobTeaser.
Each ATS has its own way of formatting tracking codes. In most cases, you are free to choose the format.
Please refer to the example list below to check the expected format based on your ATS.
Once the tracking code is created, please share it with our Technical Operations team by emailing: jtpartner@jobteaser.com
Step 2:
Our technical team will add the tracking code to the configuration of your crawler or back-office integration.
Once deployed, our Technical Operations team will send you a confirmation email.
When JobTeaser sets up a tracking code, it is automatically appended to the URLs of your job offers published on our platform.
Note: The tracking code is only functional for offers with a redirect URL for the application process.
Step 3:
Once the tracking code is implemented, our Technical Operations team will submit a test application to verify everything works correctly.
They’ll email you to let you know which job posting they applied to.
This allows you to check if the application is correctly registered in your ATS and analytics tool as coming from JobTeaser.
