💡If you’re using Workday and want to enable your ATS to analyse and track where applications come from, this article is for you!
If our technical team has set up the simplified application for your offers, this article is less relevant for you.
If you would like to know what a tracking code is, please read the following article:
How do you analyse and track the origin of applications?
At Workday, the tracking code is called the "Reference ID".
The value of the "Reference ID" can be configured from your Workday back office.
Step 1 - Configure a Reference ID
Search for "Maintain Reference IDs"
Select the Business Object: "Applicant Source"
Select Integration ID > Edit Reference ID
Then add/edit the Reference ID Value corresponding to JobTeaser.
🚨 Note: Be careful when modifying Reference IDs.
Once Reference IDs have been defined, changes to these values may interrupt integrations that use the current identification values.
To modify and manage Reference IDs, you must be an administrator in Workday.
Step 2 - Activate the "Recruiting Sources for Auto-Tracking" function for JobTeaser
When a candidate applies through a URL that contains a source parameter that matches the reference ID of a recruiting source in this list, Workday hides the "How Did You Hear About Us?" dropdown and automatically populates this recruiting source for the candidate's application.
Search "Edit external career site”
Go to the "Apply - Intro" section
Search for "JobTeaser" in the "Recruiting Sources for Auto-Tracking" field
Tick the box in the "JobTeaser" line
📝 Note: If you use a job distributor solution such as Broadbean or Talentplug, remember to transfer the value of the "Reference ID Value" field corresponding to JobTeaser.
