What is TalentMatch?

TalentMatch is JobTeaser’s new active sourcing solution, designed to help you directly identify and contact the most relevant students and recent graduates on our platform, before they apply.

Built specifically for early-career recruitment, TalentMatch gives you direct access to JobTeaser’s academic talent pool: young talent from over 800 European schools and universities, often before they are active on other recruitment platforms.

  • finding hard-to-reach, high-demand profiles, and
  • saving time on candidate pre-qualification by increasing the relevance of matches.

You can use the tool to source talent either from scratch or directly from a live job ad, with the support of our AI-powered matching engine.

 

How TalentMatch uses AI

TalentMatch relies on a proprietary AI matching technology developed by JobTeaser, specifically designed for students and recent graduates.

Rather than focusing only on keywords or years of experience, the AI helps you:

  • identify relevant early-career profiles, even when CVs are short or non-standard,
  • surface potential and transferable skills, and
  • save time by prioritising the most relevant profiles for your needs.

All recommendations provided by TalentMatch are explainable, meaning you can understand why a profile is suggested and confidently share results with other hiring managers.

The AI is built to be:

  • ethical and transparent,
  • fully GDPR-compliant, and
  • aligned with European AI regulations, with human oversight built in.

 

What the AI takes into account

To generate relevant recommendations for a certain position, TalentMatch’s AI analyses multiple aspects, including:

  • Candidate profiles: education, skills, experiences, interests, and declared preferences.
  • Candidate behaviour on JobTeaser: interactions with job ads, company pages, content, and career-related actions.
  • Your inputs as a recruiter: the job ad that’s live and linked to the TalentMatch project in question
  • Semantic understanding: the AI recognises equivalent skills, roles, and experiences, even when wording differs between CVs and job descriptions.

TalentMatch is specialised in young talent, meaning it is adapted to junior profiles that are still evolving and may not yet have extensive professional experience.

TalentMatch helps you identify students and recent graduates with specific academic backgrounds or skill sets - such as engineers, IT profiles, or niche specialisations - by analysing potential beyond traditional CV formats.

Because many students are active on JobTeaser before entering the job market, TalentMatch allows you to reach them at the right moment and ahead of competitors.

2. Pre-qualification of candidates

For roles that generate a high volume of applications, TalentMatch simplifies your initial screening.

The recommendation engine surfaces the 50 most relevant profiles first, giving you a targeted shortlist you can quickly evaluate. This improves quality while reducing time spent reviewing unsuitable applications.

TalentMatch has been designed with responsibility at its core:

  • Systematic data anonymisation (name, photo, contact details)
  • Explainable recommendations to support informed decision-making
  • Bias monitoring to promote fairness
