What is TalentConnect?

TalentConnect is your ultimate event companion, available in two versions: Premium and Freemium. Discover here the perks of this tool.

  • Freemium version: Covers the essentials, with limited access for 48 hours post-event. Hosting private events is not included in this plan.
  • Premium version: This paid version unlocks features like on-the-spot applications, unlimited access to your met talents up to date profiles, and seamless hosting of your own events. Perfect for elevating your event experience.

How to use TalentConnect on campus events

1. Get set up with the right plan

Before anything else, connect with your Account Manager to determine whether Premium or Freemium suits your needs:

  • Freemium: Attend events with basic features like saving and rating student profiles.
  • Premium: Enjoy advanced features like instant applications, targeted job ads sent directly to young talent, and unlimited access to their up to date profiles.

2. Secure your invitation

To join a campus event, ensure the university's Career Service invites your team:

  • Share your email address with them.
  • Watch for a confirmation email to confirm your participation.
  • A helpful reminder email will arrive the day before the event to keep you on track.

3. Prep your job ads

If you're a Premium user looking to generate applications during the event, post all relevant job ads in advance. Make sure that you choose to receive applications on JobTeaser to enable on-the-spot applications. 

💡 Tip: Using a multiposter or crawler? Allow 1–2 days for your job ads to appear live on JobTeaser.

4. Log in on event day & connect with students

  • Access the event either via the live event page URL (included in your reminder email) or the QR codes provided by the event host. Confirm your identity, and you’re ready to go!
     
  • Engage with students in meaningful ways:
    • Save profiles for follow-up.
    • Use the 5-star rating system to organize candidates.
    • Leave comments to capture important details.
    • Premium perks: Enable on-the-spot applications and make them apply or share tailored job ads to candidates.
    • If someone doesn't have a profile, add them manually to your talent base by uploading their key info and CV. You’ll be able to send them job ads by email.

5. Follow-up post-event

Post-event follow-up is key:

  • Freemium users: Access your talent database for 48 hours after the event.
  • Premium users: Enjoy unlimited talent database access throughout your contract.
  • Download the talent database to manage follow-ups efficiently.

How to use TalentConnect on events on your own initiative

Whether you're using TalentConnect on your own event or on your own initiative at a university event, it accompanies you on your recruiting days, student meetups, conferences, and beyond!

💡 Note: In contrast to TalentConnect Freemium, you need a TalentConnect Premium credit to engage with students on the platform.

1. Set up your event page

In your backoffice:

  • Go to the 'Event' tab and add a new event.
  • Fill in the details for internal reference.
  • Activate TalentConnect to be able to use it during your event.
  • Optionally, you can make your event visible for young talent in our network by using an event Push Com. In this case, write a catchy description with all the information they need. After activating the Push Com by our Customer Experience team, your event will be published and visible in the talent pool based on your targeting settings. It is mandatory to use a Push Com to publish an event. 
     

2. Get ready for event day

  • Share the live page URL or QR code with your colleagues.
  • Ensure your company profile is polished and engaging.
  • Double-check your job ads - are they live and ready to share?

3. Log in on event day & connect with students

  • Access the event via the live page URL or QR code in your backoffice. Confirm your identity, and you're good to go! Do not hesitate to share it with your colleagues participating to the event.
     
  • Make the most of your in-house event:
    • Save, rate, and comment on student profiles.
    • Encourage on-the-spot applications.
    • Share tailored job ads with promising candidates.
    • Collaborate with your team to identify top talent.

4. Follow up post-event

After the event:

  • Premium users can access and download the student database anytime during the contract period. You will have access to the last updates on the talents profiles!
  • Follow up with candidates and track applications through your ATS if you have ATS sync.
