During the event, TalentConnect makes it simple to manage your interactions with students and follow up afterwards. This applies to both campus events that you’re attending (Premium / Freemium version) and you own in-house events (Premium version only). Here’s how to make the most of these features:
1. Track your student interactions
- Use the prominent search bar on the event’s live page to quickly find a student’s profile during or after your conversation.
- Save the profiles of students and young graduates you meet, making it easy to revisit their details after the event for follow-up.
- If you can’t find their profile, no worries - you can create it on the spot!
Once you find a student’s profile, save it to ensure easy follow-up. - If the student doesn’t have a digital CV on their profile but hands you a printed one, you can take a photo and upload it directly to their TalentConnect profile.
- This CV photo will be visible to all recruiters at the event.
- The student will receive an email notification letting them know their CV photo was uploaded, prompting them to update their profile.
- When a student updates their CV on their JobTeaser profile, it will automatically be updated in your database. So you always have the most up-to-date CV for the student, with all their recent experience.
- Add notes and use the star-rating system to provide additional context for yourself and your colleagues. Nice, right?
2. Send job ads and encourage applications
With TalentConnect Premium, you can go a step further:
- Make students apply on the spot to one of your open positions on JobTeaser.
- Send tailored job ads to students via email directly from their profile.
Here is how you do it:
- Open the list of your job positions.
- Select the job ad that matches the student’s interests.
- Then, you can either
- Send the job ad via email;
- or, if you have ATS sync, a button to make the student apply directly on the website will be available.
3. Post-event follow-up
- If a candidate applies onsite, their application will automatically appear in your back office or ATS if you have ATS sync enabled. With ATS sync, you’ll also get automatic tracking, so you can easily see that the application came from your TalentConnect event.
- For profiles created from scratch (e.g., by uploading their CV), you won’t be able to initiate on-the-spot applications, but you can still follow up later via the tab "Met Talents" in the side menu if you have TalentConnect Premium.
4. Track your live actions
- All student encounters will be recorded and accessible on your TalentConnect live page, providing a clear overview of everyone you met.
