Once I’ve set up ATS synchronisation, how do my job ads switch to Easy Apply? Do I need to change anything in the way I publish jobs?
No changes are needed in how you publish jobs, whether published via a multiposter, crawler or manually through the JobTeaser back office.
Once your job ad is matched with one in your ATS (based on the reference ID or title), the "Simplified Application" tag will appear automatically.
- If you post manually, please fill in the “external reference” field with the job ID from your ATS.
- If you use a multiposter, we've ensured the correct ID is shared with us via our API.
If you notice that few of your ads are converting to Easy Apply, contact us at jtpartner@jobteaser.com.
After the ATS synchronization, how is the application transmitted to the ATS?
Thanks to the API connection established via our partner Kombo, applications are transmitted in the usual format supported by your ATS, both at offer and candidate level.
The data includes:

Candidate name and surname

Email address

CV
-
Gender

Phone number

Country

Legal consent

Application source (JobTeaser_ATS)

Screening questions (if enabled)
Once Easy Apply has been set up, am I guaranteed to receive all applications in my ATS?
You will receive all unique applications for a published and open job.
However, we do not send:

Duplicate applications (if a candidate with the same email already exists in your ATS)

Applications for jobs that are no longer open in your ATS (there can be a delay of up to 24 hours between changes in your ATS, publication tools, and JobTeaser)
Is it possible to have a demonstration of Easy Apply on JobTeaser and in the ATS?
We cannot offer a demonstration inside your ATS, as we don’t have access to it.
However, we can:

Show the student application experience on JobTeaser

Run a test application to verify the integration works and data is correctly received in your ATS
This helps confirm everything is in place before full activation.
By applying via Easy Apply, the candidate no longer visits my career website. How can they create an account?
If account creation is required (e.g. to access documents, complete steps, etc.), you can reach out to candidates after pre-selection.
Many clients send a follow-up email to candidates with the JobTeaser_ATS source, asking them to create an account on their career site. This keeps the application process seamless while ensuring only relevant candidates are contacted.
Can Easy Apply generate duplicate applications since the candidate no longer logs on to the career website?
No. During the integration setup, JobTeaser via its partner Kombo requests permission to read the list of candidates in your ATS.
This ensures that duplicate applications are avoided. If a candidate with the same email already exists, we won’t push the new application.
On my career website, I ask for additional candidate information. Can I still receive this with Easy Apply?
Yes. As of March 2025, screening questions can be replicated on JobTeaser.
This includes:

Single select / multi-select options

Free text fields

Predefined ATS values (no need for manual mapping)
Only mandatory questions are replicated to respect the candidate’s time and maximize completion rates.
From your end, nothing changes. It’s simply an option that can be enabled at any time.
